brief study: responsible brats::: a concise description of spoiled brat :: a child who believes that they are superior to others around them, usually as a result of their parents and/or other educators systematically failing to teach socially acceptable behavior and discipline. The term also carries the connotation of the child's being privileged, as well seldom being subjected to consequences of their actions. However, a child could be perfectly behaved and still be called a brat in a derogatory manner.
This definition can be dissected allday, but it is fair; and a base for further discussion.
The operative words/phrases are 'superior', it's definition, and it's various semantic colors; 'socially acceptable', governed by culture; 'privileged'::: not a required component. Do 'spoiled brats' survive well? perhaps if they have a solid ratio of behavior/talent. Spoiled sounds like a prescription for 'the boot'::: letz throw it out. No one considers themself 'spoiled'. What happens to these individuals::: if they are aware of the 'delusion of superiority'.... do they mask it with another 'delusion'.
